REQUEST YOUR CUSTOM QUOTE
Begin by contacting us with the details of your project. We recommend beginning the creation of your wedding stationery at least two to three months before your ceremony date. Even as far as nine months in advance if you’d like to include Save the Dates in your Invitation Suite.
Jackie creates paper goods for the three chapters of your wedding story:
The Invitation Suite - Save the Dates, Ceremony Invitations, Corresponding A7 Euro Flap Envelopes, RSVP Cards, A1 RSVP Envelopes, and a Details or Directions Card.
Day of Ceremony Suite - Ceremony Programs, Dinner Menus, Seating Charts, Escort and Placement Cards, Table Numbers, Welcome Signage, and Signs for desserts, treats, and bar.
Honeymoon Suite - Thank You Cards, A2 Thank You Envelopes, Everyday Family Stationery with corresponding A7 Envelopes, and Family Address Stamp keepsake.
Jackie will provide a custom quote based on whether you have requested to personalize a stationery from our collection, or have her handcraft a bespoke design for your special day. She will take into consideration any add-ons that you are interested in, such as double-thick paper, wax seals, ribbon or twine, vellum, letterpress or assembly of your invitation suites before shipment. During the quote process, Jackie encourages couples to send links to their Pinterest boards showing the paper goods that have inspired them. Jackie will also help you establish a timeline. Based on the date of your event, she will work backwards and recommend a design “start date”, a proof approval date, an approximate date your project will go to print, and an approximate ship date.
SECURE YOUR BOOKING
After you have contacted us to discuss your quote and you send an approval to proceed with design, Jackie will email you a PayPal invoice for a design deposit. This deposit is priced based on your order and is deducted from your order total. Once you have approved your digital proofs, the remaining balance on your order is due to commence print production. Often times couples will hold a design “start date” with a design deposit, though their date is several months out. This is especially recommended for couples who are getting married during peak wedding season, due to higher volumes of requests. Deposit pricing may vary for custom designs.
DAY OF CEREMONY & HONEYMOON SUITE PAPER GOODS
For Day of Ceremony and Honeymoon Suite items, a PayPal invoice for the full balance due will be emailed.
REVIEW YOUR PROOFS
Once we have received your initial payment, we will ask you to provide details for your order such as color palette considerations, verbiage, and any additional personalizations. Jackie will begin customizing a collection design or handcrafting your one-of-a-kind stationery, dependent on your order. Once your first round of proofs is complete (1-3 business days for designs from our collection, 1-2 weeks for custom designs), Jackie will send digital proofs for you to review. Jackie includes three rounds of edits in her initial quote. Should you require additional rounds, a small design fee will be charged beyond the initial three edits. Please ensure you have double-checked all spelling, grammar, text, and layout before signing off on your proofs. Once you have officially approved your design items, Jackie Nelson, A Love Story Artist is not responsible for any layout or typographical errors.
FINAL PAYMENT & PRINTING
Once you have approved your design proofs, you will receive a PayPal invoice for the remaining balance due. Production of your order will begin. Print production typically takes two weeks, plus additional time for shipping.
CUSTOM INVITATIONS
Please inquire about custom bespoke designs as early as you can, as Jackie’s bookings for custom designs each year are limited.
